Secretarial ComplianceThe National Stock Exchange (NSE) on June 12, 2023, issued a Circular regarding the Standardization of Clearing and Settlement file formats - Old format discontinuation dates deferred for the Futures & Options. Securities Lending & Borrowing Scheme, Currency Derivatives, Commodity Derivatives, Capital Market (Equities) Trade segments

This has a reference to NCL circulars NCL/CMPT/56819,  NCL/CMPT/56820,  NCL/CMPT/56821,  NCL/CD/56822 and NCL/COM/56823 dated May 24, 2023, regarding the Standardization of Clearing and Settlement file formats that specified July 03, 2023, as the date of discontinuation of reports in old (existing) format 

The following has been stated namely: -

• It states that NCL hereby informs that discontinuation dates of reports in the old (existing) format as mentioned in the aforesaid circular is deferred and now the reports in both old (existing) and standardized format shall be simultaneously available for use till further notice. 

• It further states that the Files involving upload and response viz. client margin reporting, early pay-in of securities, and collateral release request will continue to be uploaded with old (existing formats) till further notice.
