The Government of Haryana on June 09, 2023, notified Punjab Liquor Import, Export, Transport and Possession (Haryana Amendment) Orders, 2023 to further amend Punjab Liquor Import, Export, Transport and Possession Order, 1932.
The following has been amended-
In the Punjab Liquor Import, Export, Transport and Possession Orders, 1932, in order 1, in clause (b), for the first proviso, the following proviso shall be substituted, namely:-
“(1) Foreign Liquor and Beer (whether imported or made in India) when imported under clause (a) shall not exceed in quantities of 12 bottles of foreign liquor each capacity of 750 milliliters, 12 bottles of beer (whether imported or made in India), each capacity of 650 milliliters, 12 bottles of Imported Foreign Liquor (IFL) each capacity of 750 milliliters, 12 bottles of Indian Made Foreign Spirit (IMFS) each capacity of 750 milliliters, 12 bottles of Rum/Wine/Vodka/Gin/Cider (whether imported or made in India), each capacity of 750 milliliters and 12 bottles of Country Liquor each capacity of 750 milliliters of different sizes total quantity not exceeding 12X750ml=9000 Ml.”.
They shall come into force with effect from June 12, 2023.
