The Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India (IRDAI) on June 14, 2023, issued a circular regarding the Repealing of redundant Circulars/ Guidelines / Clarifications, etc.
The following has been stated namely: -
• It states that in order to rationalize, streamline the regulatory framework, enhance clarity, and reduce complexity in compliance requirements, various redundant circulars/guidelines/clarifications issued by the Authority are repealed.
• It states that this action is taken in response to the issuance of subsequent regulations, guidelines, updates, and lapse of time-specific instructions.
• The list of circulars/guidelines/clarifications repealed are attached to this circular as Annexure – A
