The University Grants Commission (UGC), on June 14, 2023, issued a notification regarding the scheme "Professor of Practice".
Realizing that a common platform for both experts as well as higher education institutions, where they can register and search for appropriate opportunities, would help all concerned, the UGC has developed a portal for Professor of Practice. The experts can register and upload their biodata in the portal and look for vacancies. Similarly, the HEls can advertise their requirements for Professor of Practice and select suitable candidates from the portal.
Higher education institutions and potential professors of practice are requested to make use of the portal and ensure that the scheme "Professor of Practice" is a great success benefitting the students.
