The Government of Meghalaya on June 13, 2023, published a notification regarding the revised rates of Motor Spirit and Diesel oil
This is in supersession of notification No. ERTS (T) 81/20144U51-A dated August 24, 2022, related to the revised rates of Motor Spirit and Diesel oil
This shall come into force on June 10, 2023
The following has been revised namely: -
• Motor Spirit (except diesel oil and other internal combustion oils other than petrol) with a rate of tax of 13.5% or Rs. 13.00(Rupees thirteen) only per liter whichever is higher with a Pollution surcharge of 10 (ten) paise per liter.
• Diesel oil and other internal combustion oils with the rate of tax 5% or Rs. 6.00/ (Rupees six) only per liter whichever is higher with a Pollution surcharge of 10 (ten) paise per liter.
