The Department of Food and Public Distribution (DFPD) on June 15, 2023, issued a notification to amend Notification No. S.O. 371(E), dated February 08, 2017, for an extension till September 30, 2023, for linking Aadhaar with a ration card.
The following has been amended, namely:
• in paragraph 1, in sub-paragraph (2), for the words, figures, and letters “by June 30, 2023”, the words, figures, and letters “by September 30, 2023” shall be substituted;
• in paragraph 2, in sub-paragraph (1), for the words, figures, and letters “by June 30, 2023”, the words, figures, and letters “by September 30, 2023” shall be substituted.
