The Government of Maharashtra on June 15, 2023, issued a notification regarding the price list of laboratory animals at SABC.
The breeding, nutrition and care of laboratory animals are taken as per CCSEA norms.
Species and Strains available are:
•Mouse Swiss Albino
•Guinea Pig - Dunken Hartley, white
•Rabbit New Zealand White
Terms and Conditions are-
•Name, address and CCSEA Reg. number of the establishment should be mentioned with the purchase order.
•The date and IAEC No. of the protocols against which animal procurement is done by any establishment/ purchaser should be mentioned with the purchase order.
•The purchase order should be placed well in advance. The availability of animals should be confirmed telephonically or by e-mail before making the payment.
•The payment should be done in advance by Cash, Online transfer or Demand Draft drawn in favour of "Administrative Officer to Joint Commissioner Animal HusbandryIVBPPune" payable at Pune.
•On confirmation of payment and order, animals should be procured on the given date and time. Order confirmed will not be cancelled and refunds will be made.
•Healthy animals will be supplied. Animals should be transported as per CPCSEA norms and the due certificate will be issued at the time of delivery. This institute reserves all the rights to the supply of laboratory animals.
