The Department of Food & Public Distribution (DFPD) on June 21, 2023, issued a notification to amend Notification No. S.O. 148 (E) dated January 14, 2021, related to the production of ethanol and its supply under the Ethanol Blended with Petrol (EBP) Programme.
The following has been amended:
Para 5 (ii) which specifies the ‘Modalities of the Scheme’ of the notification dated April 22, 2022, maybe read as under:-
“The applicant should get the loan disbursed from the bank/NCDC/IREDA/ NBFCs/any other financial institutions which are eligible for re-finance from NABARD, 30th September 2023, failing which the in-principle approval for the project will stand cancelled. Further, the project should be completed within two years from the date of disbursement of 1st installment of the loan from bank/NCDC/IREDA/NBFCs/any other financial institutions which are eligible for re-finance from NABARD.”
