The Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on June 22, 2023, issued a circular regarding the compliance with the Master Circular on (a) Scheme of Arrangement by Listed Entities and (b) Relaxation under Sub-rule (7) of rule 19 of the Securities Contracts (Regulation) Rules, 1957
This has a reference to SEBI circular no. SEBI/HO/CFD/POD-2/P/CIR/2023/93 dated June 20, 2023, regarding Master Circular on (a) Scheme of Arrangement by Listed Entities and (b) Relaxation under Sub-rule (7) of rule 19 of the Securities Contracts (Regulation) Rules, 1957.
The following has been stated namely: -
• it states that in order to enable the users to have access to the applicable circulars in one place, Master Circular in respect of schemes of arrangement and relaxation under Sub-rule (7) of rule 19 of the Securities Contracts (Regulation) Rules, 1957 has been issued.
• It states that with the issuance of this Master Circular, the directions/instructions contained in the circulars listed out in the Appendix to this Master Circular shall stand rescinded.
• It further states that All Listed companies are requested to take note and comply accordingly.
