The Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) on June 21, 2023, issued a notification prohibiting manufacturers/exporters in the State of Maharashtra from submitting samples of cough syrup to CTDL, Mumbai.
The following has been stated namely: -
• Manufacturers/exporters in the State of Maharashtra are not to submit any sample at CTDL, Mumbai at present till all the samples at CTDL, Mumbai get analysed and released in the report.
• Manufacturers/exporters in the State of Maharashtra are requested to verify the Website information of CDSCO on a daily basis and submit your samples at the laboratories which are having no samples/less number of samples.
