Labour Compliance The Ministry of Labour and Employment, (MoLE) on June 23, 2023, issued a notification regarding public utility services in the Uranium Industry.

The Central Government is satisfied that the public interest so requires the services in the Uranium Industry, which is covered under item 19 of the First Schedule to the Industrial Disputes Act, 1947.

Declares the services engaged in the said industry to be a public utility service for the purposes of the said Act for a further period of six months with effect from July 09, 2023.
