Commercial Compliance The Government of Karnataka on June 26, 2023, issued a notification of the draft Karnataka Motor Vehicles (Amendment) Rules, 2023.

The amendments are as follows-

•Insertion of new rule 200A- after rule 200 the following shall be inserted, namely: - 200A, Levy of fine and penalty through Electronic Enforcement Device

Any objection or suggestion by the persons likely to be affected thereby will be taken into consideration with respect to the said draft before the expiry of thirty (30) days.
