The Central Board of Direct Tax (CBDT) on June 28, 2023, extended the time limits for submission of certain TDS/TCS Statements.
The following has been stated namely: -
• The Central Board of Direct Taxes provides relaxation in respect of the following compliances, namely: -
1. The date of furnishing Form No. 26Q or Form No. 27Q for the statement of deduction of tax for the first quarter of the financial year 2023-24 has been extended to September 30, 2023, from July 31, 2023.
2. The date of Furnishing Form No. 27EQ for the statement of collection of tax for the first quarter of the financial year 2023-24 has been extended to September 30, 2023, from July 15, 2023.
