Secretarial ComplianceThe National Stock Exchange (NSE) on June 30, 2023, issued a circular regarding the actions in case of failure to settle a deal on the Request for Quote (RFQ) Platform-Individual Investors.

The participants are asked to take note that until November 30, 2023, there will be no penalties imposed on individual investors for failing to settle a deal after a trade has been executed on the RFC Platform. This is done in an effort to familiarise individual investors with transacting on the NSE RFQ platform, which would facilitate their initial engagement and promote the development of the corporate bond market. Individual investors will be identified in accordance with Income Tax PAN categorization.
