The Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC) on June 30, 2023, issued a notification relating to the amendment the Chapter 27 related to the Mineral fuels, mineral oils, and products of their distillation under the First Schedule of the Customs Tariff Act 1975
This shall come into force on July 01, 2023
The following has been amended namely: -
• In the First Schedule to the said Customs Tariff Act, in Chapter 27 which states “Mineral fuels, mineral oils and products of their distillation; bituminous substances; mineral waxes”, for the entry in column (4) occurring against tariff items 2711 19 10 which states “LPG (for non-automotive purposes)” 2711 19 20 which states “LPG (for automotive purposes)” and 2711 19 90 which states “Others” the entry “15%” shall be substituted.
