Finance & Taxation Compliance The Ministry of Finance (MoF) on July 01, 2023, issued an amendment to the First Schedule to the Customs Tariff Act.

The following has been stated namely: -

• In the First Schedule in Chapter 27, for the entry in column (4) occurring against tariff items 27111200 and 2711 13 00, the entry “15%” shall be substituted.

This amendment increases the import duty leviable on Liquified Propane and Liquified Butane by 15%.

• This shall come into force on July 01, 2023
