The Government of Mizoram on June 16, 2023, issued a notification revising the minimum wage for various daily waged employees.
The Governor of Mizoram is pleased to revise the minimum rates of wages for the workers employed in the Scheduled Employment of "various dally waged employees' classified as skilled, semi-skilled, highly-skilled, unskilled under the Government Departments, Semi-Government Organizations, Public Undertakings, Private Undertakings and on a Contract Basis as shown below with effect from April 01, 2023, as mentioned in the document attached.
Workers other than clerical, peon etc. working in the office will enjoy the holidays mentioned in the document attached paid holidays and the Sunday benefit as enjoyed by the workers provided they work continuously for 6(six) days a week.
