The Government of Tripura on June 16, 2023, issued a notification regarding the revision of the Variable Dearness Allowance (VDA) for the workers engaged in the employment of "Loading and Unloading".
The half-yearly average Consumer Price Index is 97 points.
The revised VDA shall come into effect from April 01, 2023.
The details of the schedule are as follows-
A)For Skilled workers working more than 1 year & over 30 years of age Minimum basic wages (Daily/Monthly) will be 595 x (26+4) days = 17850 per month (26 working days + 4 days leave) and the Total minimum rates of wages (Daily/Monthly) is Rs.608x (26+4) days = Rs. 18,240.001- (26 working days + 4 days leave).
B)Semi-skilled (Working more than 6 months but less than a year and over 30 years of age) his Minimum basic wages (Daily/Monthly) will be 553 x (25+4) days =16590.00 per month (26 working days + 4 days leave) and the Total minimum rates of wages (Daily/Monthly) Rs.608 x (26+4) days = Rs. 18,240.001 (26 working days + 4 days leave).
C)Un-skilled (Working less than 6 months and age below 35 years) his Minimum basic wages (Daily/Monthly) will be 510 x (26+4) days = 15300.00 per month (26 working days + 4 days leave) and the Total minimum rates of wages (Daily/Monthly) is Rs.521 x (26+4) days = Rs. 15,630/- (26 working days + 4 days leave).
D)Managerial / Clerical (Non-working categories/clerical) the Minimum basic wages (Daily/Monthly) will be 510 x (26+4) days = 15300.00 per month (26 working days + 4 days leave) and the Total minimum rates of wages (Daily/Monthly) is Rs.521 x (26+4) days = Rs. 15,630/- (26 working days + 4 days leave).
