Labour Compliance The Government of Tripura on June 16, 2023, revised the Variable Dearness Allowance for different categories of workers engaged in the employment of "Beedi Industry" in Tripura.

The following revised VDA has been stated:

• For Beedi Workers the Minimum Basic Wage is Rs.195.00 for rolling 1000 beedis and VDA is Rs.4.22. The total minimum wage will be Rs199.00 for a rolling of 1000 beedis.
