The Government of Tripura on June 16, 2023, issued a notification regarding the revision of the Variable Dearness Allowance (VDA) for the workers engaged in the employment of "Public Motor Transport".
The half-yearly average Consumer Price Index is 121 points.
The revised VDA shall come into effect from April 01, 2023.
The details of the schedule are as follows-
•For Dumper Driver minimum wage is Rs.15962.00 per month.
•For Heavy Vehicle Driver minimum wage is Rs.5828.00 per month
•For Medium Vehicle Driver minimum wage is Rs.4189.00 per month
•For Light Vehicle Driver minimum wage is Rs.3815.00 per month
