The Government of Tripura on June 16, 2023, issued the revised Variable Dearness Allowance (VDA) for workers engaged in the employment of Petrol Pump.
The following has been stated namely: -
• This is revised on the basis of 6-monthly average Consumer Price Index Numbers for the period commencing from July 01, 2022, and ending on December 31, 2022.
• The half yearly average Consumer Price Index is 121 points for different categories of workers
• The Total Minimum Rates of Wages shall be payable as follows:
1. Skilled – Rs. 8006.00
2. Semi-skilled – Rs. 7589
3. Un-skilled – Rs. 7173.00
a. To arrive at daily rates of wages the monthly rate shall be divided by 26 and rounded off to the next rupee.
b. The overtime rate shall be double the ordinary rate of wages
• The Variable Dearness Allowance shall be payable with effect from April 01, 2023, by the employers to the workers/employees.
