The University Grants Commission(UGC) on July 04, 2023, issued a notification regarding the Central Sector Pradhan Mantri Uchchatar Shiksha Protsahan (PM-USP) scheme.
The Government has emphasized the optimal implementation of the scheme in the Union Territories by December 2023.
PM-USP is a Central Sector Scheme for Scholarships for College and University students. The Higher Education Institutions located in union Territories are requested to derive the benefit and disseminate the information regarding the scheme, so that objective of the scheme can be achieved in a time-bound manner.
