The Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) on June 30, 2023, issued a notification regarding the release of imported consignments of producers of 106 EEEs items.
The following has been stated namely: -
• The arrangement of the release of imported consignment producers of all the notified EEE items may be extended to only those producers who have submitted their application for registration on the EPR Portal of CPCB.
• The imported consignment may be released if the producer submits an acknowledgment from the CPCBs EPR Portal that they have applied.
• This shall continue till August 31, 2023.
