The Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare (MoAFW) on July 05, 2023, published the Draft Multi-Source Edible Oils Grading and Marking Rules, 2023
The Following Has Been Stated: -
•The rules shall apply to the Multi-Source Edible Oils prepared by blending any two permitted edible vegetable oils.
•Various terms have been defined under section 3.
•It specifies the Grade designation mark for the packaging.
•It specifies the method of packing and the method of marking.
The rules shall come into force from July 05, 2023.
