The Government of Bihar on June 07, 2023, notified the Bihar Banning of Unregulated Deposit Schemes Rules, 2023 under the Banning of Unregulated Deposit Scheme Act, 2019.
The rules are as follows: -
•Various terms like competent authority, and designated courts have been defined under Rule 2.
•The manner of provisional attachment of property is discussed in Rule 3.
•The powers of the Government to impanel agencies for forensic or digital audit, valuation, or sale of assets are given in Rule 8.
They shall extend to the whole of the state of Bihar.
These rules shall come into force from the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
