Finance & Taxation Compliance The Government of Karnataka on July 10, 2023, issued the Draft Karnataka Excise (Excise Duties and Fees) (Amendment) Rules, 2023 to further amend the Karnataka Excise (Excise Duties and Fees) Rules, 1968.

The following has been stated namely: -

• In Schedule D the entries for Serial Number I and Serial Number II are substituted.

• This shall come into force on July 20, 2023.

The comments/suggestions may be sent within 7 days from July 10, 2023, to o the Additional Chief Secretary to Government, Finance Department.
