The Delhi Electricity Regulatory Commission (DERC) on July 10, 2023, issued an order of the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India vide its Judgement dated October 18, 2022.
The following issues have been decided:
• Change in methodology in the computation of Aggregate Technical and Commercial (AT&C) losses
• Change in methodology for computation of Depreciation
• Disallowance of salary for Fundamental Rules and Supplementary Rules
• Disallowance of interest accrued on Consumer Security Deposit retained by Delhi Power Corporation Limited (DPCL)
• Disallowance of Fringe Benefit Tax
• Reduction in Million Units (MU) in relation to Enforcement sale for the purpose of calculation of AT&C Loss
