The Central Depository Services (India) Limited (CDSL) on July 12, 2023, issued a notification regarding aadhaar seeding (linkage of pan with aadhaar).
This is a follow-up to our June 30, 2023 Communique no. CDSL/OPS/DP/SYSTM/2023/380 regarding Aadhaar Seeding (Linkage of PAN with Aadhaar), in which we stated that we would soon be adding a second new flag, "7 - Aadhaar Exempted Cases," to the CDAS system for the purpose of marking Aadhaar exempted cases in accordance with Part II- Sec.
In light of the aforementioned, DPs will have access to a brand-new flag, designated "7 - Aadhaar Exempted Cases" in the CDAS system beginning with the EOD of July 14, 2023, for the purpose of marking Aadhaar exempted cases.
