The Government of Karnataka on July 11, 2023, issued the Karnataka Government (Allocation of Business) (Amendment) Rules, 2023 to further amend the Karnataka Government (Allocation of Business) Rules, 1977.
The following has been amended namely: -
• In Schedule XIA the heading that states “Law Department” shall now be substituted to state:
“Law, Justice and Human Rights Department”
• The sub-heading “A. Litigation”, in the proviso to serial number 9, for the words “Law Department” the following has been substituted
“Law, Justice and Human Rights Department”
• The sub-heading “H. Recruitment Rules and Appointments”, for the words “Department of Law”, in two places where they occur, the words “Law, Justice and Human Rights Department”, shall be substituted.
This shall come into force on July 11, 2023.
