The Government of Madhya Pradesh on July 12, 2023, notified that the Madhya Pradesh Goods and Services Tax (Amendment) Bill, 2023 to further amend Madhya Pradesh Goods and Services Tax Act 2017.
The following has been amended-
•Amendment is made to section 16 which states eligibility and conditions for taking input tax credit.
•Amendment is made to section 17 which states apportionment of credit and blocked credits.
•Amendment is made to section 23 which states Persons are not liable for registration.
•Amendment is made to section 30 which states Revocation of cancellation of registration.
•Amendment is made to section 37 which states Furnishing details of outward supplies.
