The Government of Himachal Pradesh on July 11, 2023, issued a notification regarding the modification of tax rates under the Himachal Pradesh Motor Vehicles Taxation Act, 1972.
The amendment is as follows: -
•S.No. 3 which gives the tax rates amended and revised rates that have been allotted for the Contract Carriage buses registered in other States, not covered under AITP Rules, 2023 & buses other than Tourist permit registered in other States and entering Himachal Pradesh.
•S.No. 3A which gives the tax rates is amended and revised rates have been allotted for the Contract Carriage buses registered in other States, covered under All India Tourist Vehicles (Authorization or Permit) Rules, 2023, and entering Himachal Pradesh.
These rates shall be applicable from September 01, 2023.
