The Government of Himachal Pradesh on July 11, 2023, issued a notification regarding amendments in SCHEDULE-III of the Himachal Pradesh Motor Vehicles Taxation Act, 1972.
The amendment is as follows: -
•In SCHEDULE-III entry No. (e) Sr. No. 2 has been amended which talks about the tax rates for the Contract Carriage buses.
•In SCHEDULE-III Sr. No. 5 has been amended which talks about the tax rates for the Contract Carriage buses registered in other States, not covered under AITP Rules, 2021, and buses other than Tourist permit registered in other States and entering Himachal Pradesh also the Contract Carriage buses registered in other State, covered under All India Tourist Vehicles Rules and entering in Himachal Pradesh.
And it is informed to all persons likely to be affected to submit any objections or suggestions before the expiry of a period of seven days from the date of notification in the Rajpatra (e-Gazette), Himachal Pradesh.
