The Government of Maharashtra on July 14, 2023, issued a notification regarding amendments in the schedule of the Maharashtra Medical Council Act, 1965.
The amendment is as follows: -
•Entry 1 which talks about the Fellowship of the College of Physicians & Surgeons, Bombay, in Medicine, Pathology, Surgery or Dermatology has been deleted.
•Entry 2 which talks about the Fellowship of the College of Physicians & Surgeons, Bombay, in any subject other than Medicine, Pathology, Surgery, or Dermatology has been deleted.
•Entry 3 which talks about the Member of the College of Physicians & Surgeons, Bombay has been deleted.
•Entry 19 which talks about the Diploma in other courses has been deleted.
•Entry 27 which talks about the Fellowship of the College of Physicians and Surgeons in Medicine has been deleted.
This shall come into force from the date of its publication in the Official Gazette.
