Finance & Taxation ComplianceThe Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC) on July 14, 2023, issued a notification to amend Notification No. 18/2022-Central Excise, dated July 19, 2022, related to Special Additional Excise Duty on the production of Petroleum Crude.

The following amendment has been stated:

In the table, against S. No. 1, for the entry in column (4), the entry “Rs. 1,600 per tonne” shall be substituted.

This notification shall come into force on July 15, 2023.
