Finance & Taxation ComplianceThe Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) on July 14, 2023, issued a notification regarding the import of Gold under certain HS codes.

The following has been stated namely: -

• A clarification has been given that the import made by SEZ units under the HS codes 71131911, 71131919, and 71141910 are outside the purview of the restriction of Gold.
