The Government of Madhya Pradesh on July 12, 2023, notified the Madhya Pradesh Medical University (Amendment) Bill, 2023 further amending the Madhya Pradesh Medical University Merger Act, 2011.
The amendment is as follows: -
•Section 12 which talks about the Appointment of Vice Chancellor has been amended.
•Section 17 which talks about the Registrar as a whole-time salaried officer of the university and his appointment, has been amended.
•Section 19 which talks about the Controller of Examinations and other officers, has been amended.
