Industry Specific Compliance The Government of Karnataka on July 18, 2023, notified the Karnataka Excise (Excise Duties and Fees) (Amendment) Rules, 2023 further to amend the Karnataka Excise (Excise Duties and Fees) Rules, 1968.

The following amendments have been stated:

• An amendment is made in the Schedule-D of the Karnataka Excise (Excise Duties and Fees) Rules, 1968 which specifies the name of the article along with the price range and the excise duty on it.

They shall come into force with effect from July 20, 2023.
