The Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare (MoAFW) on July 20, 2023, notified the Plant Quarantine (Regulation of Import into India) (Fifth Amendment) Order, 2023 further to amend the Plant Quarantine (Regulation of Import into India) Order, 2003.
The following has been amended: -
•In Schedule VI Against serial no. 15 relating to Allium Sativum (Garlic) has been amended.
•In Schedule VI Against serial no. 48 relating to Beta vulgaris (Beet Root) has been amended.
The order shall come into force on the date of its publication in the Official Gazette.
