The Government of Rajasthan on July 21, 2023, issued a notification regarding amendment in Part-I of Volume-1 of General Financial and Accounts Rules.
The following has been amended: -
•In the existing rule 76 which talks about the Signature and Countersignature on Bills the following has been substituted namely: - Unless the Government has expressly authorized in the case of any specified office no payment may be made on a bill unless signed by the Drawing and Disbursing' Officer, Bills having signature by a mark, seal or stamp shall not be entertained. DDO shall ensure not to share his digital/e-sign with anyone.
