The Government of Assam on July 11, 2023, notified the Assam Food Security (Amendment) Rules, 2023 further to amend the Assam Food Security Rules 2022.
The amendment is as follows: -
•Rule 3 which states the guidelines for identification of eligible beneficiary’s sub-rule (4), in clause (xiv), in the second line, for the words and figure "Rs. 2,50,000.00(two lakhs fifty thousand)" appearing in between the words "less than" and "per annum" the words and figure "Rs. 4,00,000 (Four Lakhs)" shall be substituted.
They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette
