The Ministry of Heavy Industries (MHI) on July 25, 2023, issued a notification regarding the PLI Scheme for EV Makers.
The companies are in the process of making investments and getting their products certified by the Testing Agencies of the Ministry of Heavy Industries (MHI). Post-certification, companies are expected to submit claims after meeting the criteria for threshold investment and threshold sales of eligible products.
Under the PLI-Auto Scheme selection of applicants has to be completed by March 2022.
