The National Stock Exchange (NSE) on July 26, 2023, issued a notification regarding the Commission on Sovereign Gold Bond
The following has been stated namely: -
• This has reference to the Government of India (GOI) Notification No F.No 4. (6)-B(W&M)/2023 dated June 14, 2023, and RBI circular IDMD.CDD. No. S650/14.04.050/2023-24 dated June 15, 2023, announcing that the Sovereign Gold Bond Scheme 2023-24 will be open for subscription on the following dates: -
1. 2023-24 Series I: Date of Subscription- June 19 - June 23, 2023, Date of issuance -June 27, 2023
2. 2023-24 Series II: Date of Subscription -September 11-September 15, 2023, Date of issuance -September 20, 2023
• This has a Further reference to the Exchange vide circular (Download Ref No: NSE/CMTR/32779) dated July 08, 2016, which has intimated trading members about the receipt of approval from RBI to act as the Receiving Office for the Sovereign Gold Bond (SGB) Issuance. With an objective to facilitate the orderly collection of bids through the Stock Exchange mechanism, an online bid collection facility shall be available to trading members on the existing web-based E-IPO platform. In the above context, it has been decided to share the commission earned by the Exchange with the trading members/IFA as follows:
1. 2023-24 Series I: Date of Subscription- June 19 - June 23, 2023, Commission sharing 0.99% of the allotment value for all the issuances subscribed
2. 2023-24 Series II September 11- September 15, 2023, Commission sharing 0.80% of the allotment value for all the issuances subscribed
•The Trading members are requested to send the GST Invoice to the exchange as mentioned in Circular Ref No. NSE/FA/35585
