Industry Specific ComplianceThe Ministry of Power (MoP) on July 26, 2023, notified the Electricity (Second Amendment) Rules, 2023 further to amend the Electricity Rules, 2005.

The following has been amended namely: -

•Rule 15 which talks about the Subsidy accounting and payment has been amended.

•Rule 20 which talks about the Framework for Financial Sustainability shall be re-numbered as Rule 21.

They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.

The detailed amendments are given in the document attached below.
