Commercial ComplianceThe Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH) on July 28, 2023, issued the Guidelines / Norms for the grant of permission for the construction of access to Fuel Stations, Wayside Amenities, Connecting Roads, Other Properties, rest Area Complexes & such other facilities

The following has been stated namely: -

• It states that the existing guidelines dated June 26, 2020, stipulate that the Oil /Gas Company/Owner of the property may construct or develop the Fuel Station / private property along with its access as per approved drawings at their own cost within 12 months from the date of issue of Provisional permission for access.

• It states that the guidelines dated September 02, 2021, stipulate that the Regional Officer of the Ministry/NHAI/NHIDCL may grant a two-year time extension to the validity of provisional permission for access based on justifications for delay submitted by the applicant and fulfillment of other conditions stipulated in the circular dated June 26, 2020.

• it has been decided that the time extension beyond two years to the validity of provisional permission may be granted with the approval of the Secretary (RT&H).
