The Central Electricity Authority (CEA) on July 26, 2023, issued a notification regarding the addition of formats in the Central Electricity Authority (Furnishing of Statistics, Returns and Information) Regulations, 2007.
The following has been stated namely: -
•The objections and suggestions received from the public on the said draft regulations were considered by the Central Electricity Authority.
•In exercise of the powers conferred under sub-regulation (2) of regulation 9 the Central Electricity Authority which talks about the methodology for addition/deletion/revision of formats for furnishing of the statistics hereby makes the following addition/ revision of the formats in the Central Electricity Authority (Furnishing of Statistics, Returns and Information) Regulations, 2007, namely: - The sub-regulation (3) of Regulation 2 shall be substituted, namely: - All other words and expressions used and not defined in these regulations but defined in the Act, Rules made by the Government of India, other Regulations of CEA, and Regulations of CERC assigned to them, shall have the meanings respectively assigned to them in the Act, Rules and Regulations.
