The Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on July 27, 2023, issued a notification regarding the Measure in respect of companies with high Promoter as well as non- Promoter ‘Encumbrance’ as per Reg. 28(3) of SEBI (SAST) Regulation 2011.
The following has been stated namely: -
• The Securities that have satisfied the criteria for inclusion under the Measure have been mentioned in Annexure I. This shall attract a minimum 75 % margin in the Equity and Equity Derivatives segment.
• It will be in effect from August 01, 2023, on all open positions as on July 31, 2023, and new positions created from August 01, 2023.
• The Securities that are eligible to move out from the said framework are given in Annexure II
• This is effective from July 28, 2023.
• A consolidated list of securities under the framework is given in Annexure III.
