The Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) on July 28, 2023, issued a notification regarding the self-certification for SPV inverters under the Solar Photovoltaics, Systems, Devices and Components Goods (Requirements for Compulsory Registration) Order, 2017.
The following has been stated: -
•In view of the availability of limited test facilities and providing more time for compliance, the implementation of Quality Control Order, 2017 for SPV inverters (items 4-5) stands extended from June 30, 2023, to December 31, 2023, or till further orders.
