The Warehousing Development and Regulatory Authority (WDRA) on August 01, 2023, issued a notification regarding the agricultural commodities that shall be stored in a registered warehouse.
The following agricultural commodities shall be stored in a registered warehouse, namely: —
• Solvent-extracted groundnut oil cake
• Cane Molasses
• Honey
The commodities specified above shall comply with the qualitative specifications or standards of the AGMARK or Bureau of Indian Standards or Food Safety and Standards Authority of India:
Provided that in case, standards of AGMARK or Bureau of Indian Standards or Food Safety and Standards Authority of India do not exist for these commodities, quality standards laid down by the Central Government or State Governments or Governmental bodies shall be applicable.
