The Government of Maharashtra on August 02, 2023, notified draft Maharashtra Shops and Establishments (Regulation of Employment and Conditions of Service) (Second Amendment) Rules, 2023 to further amend the Maharashtra Shops and Establishments (Regulation of Employment and Conditions of Service) Rules, 2018.
The following has been amended-
•In Form-‘D’ appended to the principal Rules, after entry 13, 13A Insurance certificate of establishment entry shall be inserted.
•In Form-‘A’ appended to the principal Rules, after entry 11, 11A Insurance certificate of establishment entry shall be inserted.
•In Form-‘R’ appended to the principal Rules, after entry 7, 7A Insurance policy number and date of validity of insurance policy of the establishment.is inserted.
Any objection or suggestion which may be received by the expiry of forty-five days.
