The Central Electricity Regulatory Commission (CERC) on August 03, 2023, issued a commencement notification for the Central Electricity Regulatory Commission (Connectivity and General Network Access to the inter-State Transmission System) Regulations, 2022.
The CERC (Connectivity and General Network Access to the inter-State Transmission System) (First Amendment) Regulations, 2023 was published on April 06, 2023, and certain provisions of the Regulations were made effective from April 05, 2023.
In view of the above, the following have been notified:
• The remaining Regulations of GNA Regulations including First Amendment Regulations shall come into effect from October 01, 2023.
• Scheduling and Despatch of electricity with effect from October 01, 2023, shall be based on the quantum of GNA, GNARE, T-GNA and T-GNARE of each of the Designated ISTS Customers (DICs) and other users of the grid in accordance with the provisions of the CERC (Indian Electricity Grid Code) Regulations, 2023.
